Last month I had the amazing honor of photographing Claire Gill.
A passionate advocate for women’s health, Claire’s journey is an inspiration. Claire has served as CEO of the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF) since May 2020. Founded in 1984, it is the largest patient education organization in the bone health field. Claire joined what was then the National Osteoporosis Foundation in 2013 as head of communications and marketing. After being appointed CEO, she led the organization through a rebranding process and relaunched the organization as the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation in 2021.
But she didn’t stop there. Claire recognized the need for an informed community where women can learn, exchange information, find support and be inspired as they approach and journey through Menopause. So in 2019 Claire founded the National Menopause Foundation, a trusted and relatable resource that helps raise awareness and understanding of menopause through education, activism, and community building.
