Last month I had the remarkable opportunity to meet and photograph Jen Thorson.
After more than a decade in the insurance industry, Jen wanted to create wearable technology that would help keep employees safe on the job. So, in 2016 Jen decided to bet on herself, leaving a Fortune 500 company to start a SAAS IT company, Modjoul.
Working with who Jen says are the smartest engineers and data scientists in the room, Modjoul helps employers identify risks, training and reengineering opportunities to keep employees healthy during their workday.
Jen wanted photos that reflect the culture of Modjoul and where she is now. She said, “I looked at my LinkedIn photo and it didn’t reflect who I am, how I operate or dress, or what my company is.”
